Many of you will be (or at least should be) excited to hear that Sister Helen Prejean, CSJ (of “Dead Man Walking” fame) will be attending this year’s Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice in Washington D.C. As you already know, JUSTICE will be sponsoring and leading a trip to this event which takes place this upcoming November 13th-15th. What is sure to be an exciting and informative trip has just gotten even more exciting with this announcement. Sister Helen Prejean, the death penalty opponent and author of best-selling novel “Dead Man Walking,” will speak at IFTJ 2010.
